CRGBC Tacoma/Olympia Branch - Tour of Pacific Plaza

For this gathering of the Tacoma/Olympia branch of the Cascadia Region Green Building Council, tour Pacific Plaza, Tacoma's first LEED Platinum building.  The project will help revitalize Tacoma's downtown by transforming a concrete parking structure built in the 1970's into a mixed use facility by adding two floors of Class A office, and retail on the street level.  Major green features include a 30,000 ft^2 green roof, rainwater harvesting, and a highly efficient city-multi HVAC system. 

Appetizers will be provided by BLRB Architects, and the tour will be followed by a no-host social gathering at the Varsity Grill.

The tour begins at 5:30pm and ends at 6:30pm.  The social will run from 6:30pm to 8pm.  Meet at BLRB Architects, located at 1145 Broadway Plaza, Suite 1200.  RSVP to Melissa English at menglish@ahbl.com.
