Ongoing through August 14th RAUMGREIFEND An exibit of the work of Andreas Bee, an artist who "lives in and teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dusseldorf, Germany. The title Bee has chosen, RAUMGREIFEND, means "far-reaching, extensive," however he considers his installation to be more of an interaction between a person and space. RAUM means "space"; GREIFEN means "to grasp, to take hold of." Thus, Bee's wood and paper construction establishes a fragile, transparent floating "interupption," physically impacting the gallery visitors' presence as well as their means of access to the space." This free exhibit is on display at Suyama Space, in
Belltown at 2324 Second Ave. It's open Monday through Friday, from
9am-5pm. | ![]() |
